When I was plotting this I reminded myself of one of my big crossover pet-peeves that seemed applicable. You know how in some crossovers the characters meet and immediately sit down and tell each other their life histories? Yeah, people don't tend to info-dump. ;-) Plus, I wanted to make sure that the readers knew that Jo&Kat have their own reasons for doing what they're doing. As much as I love the Winchester boys (and I really, really do) the world doesn't revolve around them. Except, you know, in the ways that it totally does.
